I was born and raised in St. Louis. After graduating from St. Louis U High and St. Louis University, I earned my CPA certificate while working at Peat Marwick (KPMG). Then, after a stint in banking, I started working in distribution as VP of Finance. I was appointed President of Royal Papers in 1985 and subsequently acquired Royal in 1988. Being an entrepreneur, I have worked in every aspect of the business while growing it dramatically over the past 35 years. Today I remain active running the day-to-day operations and managing my direct accounts. I am involved in our vendor relationships as well as interacting with all our customers. I continually plan for the near and long-term growth of Royal. Having a family succession plan in place assures Royal will remain a strong independent family distributor for the long-term. Taking care of my employees is my primary job. I know if they are happy, they will make our customers and vendors happy.
I am a St. Louis native and started working at Royal in the warehouse when I was in high school. I attended CBC and graduated from Southwest Missouri State. After graduation I put my accounting degree to use as a bookkeeper at a local golf course. In 2000 went back to Royal to start my sales career. In addition to continuing my sales career, in 2009 I started my management responsibilities by establishing our distribution center in Kansas City. After 6 years of building our Kansas City branch, I took on the responsibility of elevating our traditional janitorial showroom to a “one-of-a-kind” Cleaning Solutions Super Center. Today I continue to oversee my accounts while managing our Super Center as well as our Mid Missouri and Kansas City showrooms. My greatest rewards are hearing about how much our customers appreciate the individuals who represent Royal Papers. I take pride in the part that I play in that recognition.
I am a native of St. Louis and a graduate of Notre Dame High School. I continued my education at Missouri State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing. Throughout my school years I gained experience by working in various jobs at Royal Papers. After graduation I pursued a sales career at Royal. I increased my direct account sales to over $2 million annually and continue to grow my client base. Additionally, I took on the role of Director of Customer Relations where I am responsible for generating new client relationships and networks for the Company as well as managing our Customer Care Team. As a board member of a local organization KidSmart, I am passionate about giving back to the community. I truly enjoy building relationships and challenging myself every day. It is also a bonus that I get to work so closely with my family.
I grew up in St. Louis and attended Vianney High School. After graduating from Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, I came back to St. Louis to contribute to the expansion of our family business. My early years at Royal were spent learning the business from the ground up starting in the warehouse. By working in all departments, I gained valuable knowledge and experience allowing me to express to our customers what separates us from the competition and grow my direct sales. While continuing to maintain my direct accounts, I was tasked with developing and establishing a distribution branch in Mid Missouri. As General Manager of our Mid Missouri Branch, I have successfully established the fastest growing part of our business within 5 years. Today my time is spent collaborating with our team to make sure our customers have the best solutions when they need them to clean and make their facilities safe.
Royal Papers and RoyaLab has consistently improved their community connections and have committed to their customers clean factor abilities. Especially in reopening our businesses the RoyaLab Super Center delivers timely training that is essential today.
